The new ILSONIC Monolithic is an ultrasonic tooling system that enables turning operations at up to 120 kHz. Ultrasonic-assisted, high-precision diamond cutting allows optical surface treatment in hardened steel for high-performance mould inserts or even glass substrates and infrared materials. With its unique monolithic design, ILSONIC differs significantly from other manufacturers’ solutions in terms of stability and durability.
